It should be noted that BOTH the bikes are from China. The Honda CB150F starts its life as an SDH150 in china which is made locally for the local market by the Sundiro Honda company. It is imported by our local Honda and is sold as the Honda CB150F. There is nothing Japanese about it except for the name.
(Honda does share its engine technology with Sundiro however it is only in the case of larger bike engines.)
If the United bike looks similar, we have to keep in mind that it is a very common practice for manufacturing companies in china to simply buy parts from one another and make a product using those. This might be the case here as well. The body might be purchased from Sundiro and the engine from some other vendor and hey-presto! the United US150 is born. 👍
It still surprises me that people still think the Honda CB150F is “Japani” when it is clearly not. It is designed and made in china. The only thing is, it is good enough for Honda to slap its badge on it and sell it as a Honda in China and other markets.
