denso make about 14 different types of compressor oil, you need ND8 or mobil/suniso PAG46 oil. Also its mandatory to not be smoking loaded cigarretes while servicing the A/C. The entire oil charge needs to be purged from the system with low flash solvents after removing the expansion device of course, and never put any solvent in the condenser or drier.
Once all is done then the oil is charged up in the system as the manufacturer recommends. (its not just dumped into one place).
Remove the throttling valve and blow it clean with canned air or nitrogen to remove any heavy oil or debris, do not use compressed air or your mouth. Button it back up, apply 200 psi of nitrogen gas charge to the system and check for leakage, let it hold for about an hour, blow it off slowly and run your vacuum pump for about 40 minutes. Break the vacuum with nitrogen again and vacuum once more.
Introduce refrigerant into the system and keep an eye on the weight scales (or just make sense of the little cans if you are using the little cans) - Do not overcharge the system - if using scales then zero the scales after you have purged the manifold and its lines with refrigerant too as it holds close to 30 grams of refrigerant (depending on the manifold line length)
With engine off open both valves on the manifold and let refrigerant push itself in. Keep watching the scales. Once the refrigerant stops, close the valves and then start the engine and compressor. Add refrigerant in vapor state from the vapor port only slowly till the correct weight on the scales is registered.
It helps to keep all doors open when charging A/C as it forces the expansion valve to work at its maximum.
It is wise to purge the manifold back into the system after the job.
