hammadria, so far I have changed the compressor, but that didn't solve the problem.
The compressor this auto uses carries a a sensor in the body that regulates the refrigerant flow, and I decided to install a new compressor instead of just changing the sensor if that was the cause.
I am trying to locate a used AC Amplifier as they are very expensive (USD $750), if not ,I am going to wire the compressor with a relay controlled by an AC thermostat switch direct from the battery.
I see some people are advising forumites to replace the whole system, that NOT advisable.
If your condenser coils fins are GOOD and it doesn't leak, that can be flushed out.
If your evaporator coil is GOOD and doesn't leak, that too can be flushed out.
Some may have a defective Expansion valve, and that can be replaced.
The compressor would have to be removed to replace the sensor.
Carefully remove refrigerant from the system ,if you don't have a recovery unit, place hose in container with water and vent gas and drain oil.
Remove and replace sensor, charge oil, re-install compressor, pressure test, vacuum and recharge with R134a.
A more cost effective method is to replace compressor with a compressor from an older model NZE 121 PROBABLY, but they may have to reconfigure the lines.
Hope this is helpful.
