So I messed up... I was trying to fix a broken car radio and I made a mistake... The black cable on the radio harness was not plugged in to anything, and of course we know that's the ground, so I looked online for the wiring diagram for the radio to figure out which cable was the ground one, and I made a mistake, I don't know why I reed the abbreviation for green as ground and connected the black cable of the radio to the green cable of the car wires... And bum... The green cable is for the light system, not the ground.... I know I know, rookie mistake... But now my problem is that I blew up the lights on the dashboard and on the shifter, but not on the dome light. Of course I checked the fuse, but then again, the dome light is working, so what could have gone wrong? Did I just blew up the bulbs and now I have to switch them all or could it have been something more serious? What else can I check? The car is an Echo 2003, entry level one.
