2009 it was when i got my first car restored, it was a 1974 Datsun 120Y, the only 2 Door sports model in the entire of Pakistan. I was pretty happy with it, had panned a 4-efte swap in her, but an unfortunate event took place, involving a Supra in Bahria, which kind of made me think that whats the purpose of spending so much and putting your life in danger; back then i was more of a SQL guy, had a Kenwood HU, Kenwood Coaxials and a Pioneer 306c in a sealed, then came a day when my father bought a new car for himself, Toyota Crown, came with a factory tuned setup, which always amazed me and i was pretty much startled by the sound reproduction in it, and then came another day when my father was kind enough to gift me a car as well, MashALLAH, i still remember the time and date when i was handed over the keys, it was 22nd Feb 2009, 7.22pm, loadshedding used to happen for 30min interval back then, and i was coming back from uni when i saw something parked under the shade of my house, since it was black and there was no light, i didnt really bother much about it until i was handed over the keys.
Anyway, ive never been into car modification that much so i thought of having a similar setup in my car as of my father's, didnt know who DrShaggy was back then, only knew Nauman Bhai, who i met for the first time at a PW car Show, spoke a bit with him and upgraded my setup from stock to:
Front Stage: Fusion EN-CM65
Amplification: Fishers and Kenwood
HU: Beltek Chinese DVD
Rear Fill: Pioneer TS-E2090
Sub: 306c in Sealed
It was Focal all around back then as well, and i have always been keen on keeping a look out for good things, so finally upgraded my setup and bought my first pair of Focal, Access Kit 1, that is when i met Shahid Bhai for the first time, my ATM wasnt working and Shahid Bhai were kind enough to get me my components using his ATM, ATMs and i have a weird relationship, anyway i had to get my speakers collected and pay Shahid Bhai back his favour, that is when i met him and since then it has been a crazy run. Shahid Bhai, Nauman Bhai, Maddy Bhai and Adeel Bhai, are some pretty crazy fellows i must say, although they are much elder than most of us here, but trust me there still crazy as hell to hang around with. Its always great to meet them.
Anyway, a year into the Focal Fever i burnt one of my mids due to a friggin test track and my own fault. Then is when i got a chance to buy another pair of speakers, which couldnt have been anything other than Focal obv, so i bought another pair of Access, and the very next day i sold them and bought the PS, which have been even more pleasureful than my previous Set.
This is how my story began, and is still looking for an end, which is still not in sight for a far far time, Focal, The Spirit Behind My Sound.
