Hi everyone,
I own a Honda Vezel 2015 model. It's only been driven a total of 35,000KM since it was bought in 2015 by me.
I got the transmission fluid changed today from Honda Center in Rawalpindi (Peshawar road). 2 litres of ATF-DW1.
I am a little confused regarding changing the actuator fluid (clutch oil as called by local mechanics)? I read online that it should be changed every 10,000KM else it can cause the dual clutch transmission to overheat. My car has always been maintained by Honda Center and they told me that we can replace it with Mobil1 DOT 4 brake fluid. Is it recommended to change it right now?
Another mechanic told me to not change it and keep it as it is until 80,000KM since the whole transmission has to be re-calibrated?
Although I was about to get the actuator fluid changed today by Honda but they didn't have Mobil1 available. I found DOT4 Plus by Mercedes Benz in the local market, but the guys at Honda were hesitant to use this as they didn't have experience of this before? Do you guys recommend only Mobil1 DOT4?
