Now lets discuss this a bit. as Tintin Baba has rightly said, if they have made it an AWD hence there should be something to it. I spoke with a guy who has body changed almost 30 LC 80s and does RKRs and 70 series etc. by the dozen. He only experimented once with an LC 80 and as per him "Martay Martay bacha hun". Why? reason is the power and handling. I have used a 1999 toyota surf 3.4 V6. obviously its a 2wd vehicle and not a AWD. i have managed to spin tyres on curves at 80km/h (lethal). There is so much torque that its frightening. But when you lock its center diff (a small button on the 4x4 stick), the handling changes completely but yes the surf becomes heavy. I can't say anything about the diesel, but I would never do it to my 1FZ FE powered motor, NEVER!!!!
