When you have only one vehicle and it’s in workshop for some time. Then spending Sunday without doing anything is just like super boring.
So I decided to cook first time in my life.
And the decided dish was CHICKEN KARAHI.
so here we go.
Mr. Junior tintin is in 7th grader. But his hand writing is like 2nd grade student so just ignore it.
I asked him to note down the procedure to make chicken karahi and here is our target.
First I washed & cut the half kilo tomatoes.These were very small. But have to go what is available in the market.
Washed the chicken and soak it in lemon juice for 5-10 min.
Now the most difficult work in the World.Yes I mean it.
And this is Peeling & Cutting Onions.
I cried a lot while doing that
Wife siad if you are feeling too much “Krattan” (which brings tears in eyes while you are peeling or cut onions) then keep a steel spoon in your mouth and you will not feel anything.
Guess what ? I did the same. Look
After few seconds I learn that she was making fun of it. Because everyone was laughing a lot while looking at me.
Next project is .... to cut these onions.
Consult the written recipe before taking the next step
Put the cooking oil in the pan.Warm it up. And then add chicken
Here is all the chicken in the pan.
Now fry it for couple of minutes. Meat will leave its water and you just keep frying it. The meat color will slowly turn white as it’s water will evaporate.
Meanwhile make sure all other things are ready
Add little bid Cinamon and keep frying.
Add little bid of Badiaan Khattai 2 spoons of mashed gingerAnd2 spoons of mashed garlic
Perhaps many of you don’t know that one of the GREATEST benefit of Garlic is that ..... It keeps the Polar Bears & Sharks away from you. Lol.
Add Black pepper and keep it frying.
Notice that meat color is turned white.
Time to add Tomatoes and Onions.
It will look like this
Leave it for couple of minutes and reduce the gas supply of Stove.
Well done Tintin Jan but aap ka Bhai mutton Karahi Khud banata hai her Eid per. Also I can cook spaghetti (not maggie etc) proper one. Aloo qeema etc. Rice I don't know how to make. Good show.
Then give it a good mix and then cover the pan with lid and leave it for 10 min.
