its not too complex. you just have to learn how to play with flour and yeasts - and garbage ingredients make garbage products. Its as simple as that.
These are 4 loaves of regular bread i made - I can tell you with surety that they are addicitve. They have a storage life of a week but usually are missing by day 3. Two slices from these and some real home churned butter on top, sprinkled with salt - YUMM.

add some homemade strawberry or fig jam on it.
Eat alone or alongside a nice cup of tapal chai brewed in a steel pan - lighten the tea with half milk and half cream.
