Front Stage: Nakamichi NSA-CS1721 2-Way Components
So anyone who initially followed this thread would remember me running the Morel Tempo Ultra 602 in this car. That set has now been sold because i did get my hands on something of an upgrade but that set wont be here for 2-3 months.
In the mean time, I was always a bit intrigued by these Nakamichi 1721 components. I did recommend these to a few friends and I even demoed them in a friends car but I thought that I could make them work even better. He had these hooked to a Nakamichi 75.4 along with the nakamichi 6x9's and the midbass was insane
Nakamichi has done a much better job in not just the presentation of these components from the box to the foam padding inside but also the build quality of the midbass drivers and tweeters (metal construction with a screw metal bezel and +3,0,-3 attenuation) is exceptional for this price point
Rear Fill: Nakamichi NSF623
This being my dad's car, he really didn't want just the front stage but he also disliked the factory paper speakers that came in this car ( mind you, they are clarions and have a solid 40wrms rating, metal construction and decent size magnet compared to the crap we get in local car's ).
So to balance things out, went ahead with the nakamichi 6.5" coaxials. These will mostly just give the surround effect to rear passengers since with the listening position set, the auto eq and time alignment done, the front passengers wont really be bothered by them. Also, the crossover cuttoff will be set so they dont produce too much midbass
