The engine won't really matter, what matters is how you swap it, certain things are a must to check.
Compatibility:-
Is the new engine compatible with the gearbox and the drive terrain, if you intend to change the gearbox too then make sure both are compatible with the drive terrain
Space:-
Will it fit comfortably with minimum/nil alteration. One has to be sure that body strength and mount strength isn't compromised, has to be safely set
Conversion:
You have to make sure that all the necessary parts are available for a flawless conversion, its not just the engine, inorder to attain all the benefits from these computerized engines and a flawless car, one has to get the entire wiring grip by grip along with a changed speedometer(in most cases) also have to look into the fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel pressure.
All these things and more are essential for the upgrade.
Once these are flawlessly done, the suspension and the braking need to be adjusted according to the new powerhouse.
If you want a reliable car, these above things have to be done, and that too correctly with minimum jugaar. Hope you have the place and the finances for this, best of luck
