Come on man, how long would you keep talking about those "features". I don't own any of these cars, so I can claim to be unbiased. I don't agree with your "fact-sheet".
Let me tell you what you can't get in even the top of the line Honda City Aspire, the airbags, the rear airvents and projector headlamps. Good luck getting those from the after market, as opposed to the chrome lining here or there and the multimedia set. Look at the wheelbase of both the vehicles, there is a huge difference, and that difference translates into bigger passenger volume and better comfort over rough roads and potholes. A Honda City comes with lesser features than my 18 year old Vitz. So much for features of a Honda City. The immobilizer in the City is also a sham, you can see threads here on Pakwheels regarding it as well. It is not an "immobilizer" at all, rather a "chor switch" type mechanism in a fancy teabag, which can be bypassed by all the electricians working for Honda dealerships, with just a wire-cutter and solution tape. Also, the "fact" sheet has errors in it.
And this was all just about features, newer generations have better designs which are safer and more efficient in other ways as well. Case in point, a video created by NHTSA where a 20 year old Corolla was crashed into a new Corolla. The new Corolla fared way better, even though both models had airbags etc. Ciaz is a newer generation car, City is old. Ciaz has more sales in India than the City, which is not the City we have here, it is the newer generation. Whoever shared that link, shared a link which was probably mistaken, which showed that 0 Ciaz was sold. In reality, Ciaz is selling more than City and Hyundai Verna combined.
The City we are getting here will be 10 year old next year. We got it in 2009. Personally, I would never buy this City just for this reason alone. If they role out a new generation tomorrow, the resale of this generation will go down the drain, as it is the same shape as a 2009. Minor facelifts don't matter much and can be done from aftermarket. Plus, the thing I mentioned about newer designs being better as well. The only thing I see currently in favour of the City is its resale. And if people start buying Ciaz, it will also get that. It is people, especially Honda fanboys, who are the reason behind Atlas Honda continuing with an outdated City. Had they seen a dip in sales, they would surely have brought a newer generation, and we would be debating a totally different topic. The Ciaz is way better than the old City we have right now.
