@omersiddiqui5482 bhai a new development on the issue you said about people coming wrong side on lyari expressway. Today I nearly got killed by tbe stupid kids playing at the expressway.
@Xulfiqar sir see this is how decline happens, when you visited last time in 2015 lyari expressway was still a safe and quick way of commute.
Today I was traveling at 80 kph at the expressway when a kid, out of his mind, started running across the road. I pressed the brake slowly at first to prevent locking and then jammed it. The wind was strong and WagonR is quite unstable so there was a loud screech and the car was about to topple; it was on two wheels. I panicked and steered the car in opposite direction and shifted my weight. I don't know how but within microseconds it was over and my car was back on 4 wheels safely. A couple of motorists sympathetic came and asked if I was okay as the kids dashed back into the abaadi.
Just last week when it was my friend who was driving at 140 when he turned to emergency lane to overtake, only to find kids playing. He quickly saved them as the kids ran but one of the kids slipped and was on the road, with his hands up ans terror on his face as the car just missed him.
It becomes quite dangerous but lyari expressway is nowadays full of pedeatrains taking a leisurely stroll and kids playing dengerously. The traffic police should take immediate action.
As for me, I'm getting thicker tyres for the waggy when replacement is due. The stock tyres are very thin.
