Dear @Xulfiqar and others
i have a w202, C180, 1998. The blower is fine (though there may be issue with the resistor but that is not relevant here). The HVAC (manual, not climate control) controls shifts air to various vents as it should but even at full speed (blower sound tells it runs fine) very little air comes out from vents. During the winter could only get half the windscreen to defog but kept running. However, now summer is approaching and need this to fix since summers would not be bearable without AC in the glass and metal of a car.
Last time i got this issue corrected from an electrician guy (Abdullah in Saddar, RWP) and he opened the center dash console, removed the HVAC controls, CD player and fixed somethng behind them within few minutes. i remember a friend praised the throw back then but gradually (i believe) things have gone back to almost to zero state.
Thinking that i would be able to figure out the issue myself (i did not ask him what he did earlier), i opened up the console and but there is nothing that i can figure out in there that can resolve the issue!
Any help in this regard or should i take it back to him?
My idea s to always have an autonomy for issues that can recur. Nothing like if i can do something myself.
A quick help would be appreciated since all center electronics lies in the passenger footwell now and a strange side effect (maybe) is that the car's radiator fan works at the worst-max speed possible (all the time) and it sounds like i am sitting on a turbine! (What may have caused this?)
