The 5th Generation Honda Life was introduced in 2008. The 5th Generation Life is a front engine front/four wheel drive Kei car. The Honda Life 5th Generation featured a slightly redesigned exterior as well as a slight increase in exterior dimensions compared to the 4th Generation Honda Life. Production of the 5th Generation Honda Life lasted for seven years. The Honda Life was available to purchase during the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and the year 2014. The 5th Generation Honda Life is available in 4variants C, G, PASTEL, and DIVA. The Honda Life price in Pakistan is fairly competitive when compared to other models in the same class.

The exterior of the 5th Generation Honda Life features classic Kei car design language. The front end houses large side swept headlights, a rectangular grille with a chrome accent and dual air intakes. The rear end houses a roof spoiler, angular rectangular taillights, and a standard case hatchback. All variants of the Honda Life feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior Honda Life 5th Generation features a fairly restrained design language.

The interior of the Honda Life compromises of gray plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features on the C and Pastel variants include power steering, power lock doors, power windows, air conditioning and a tachometer. Features on the higher end G variant includes power adjustable mirrors, front fog lights as standard and allow wheels. The DIVA variant features Xenon headlights as standard, climate control as standard and a rear roof spoiler. Options include satellite navigation, front fog lights, Xenon headlights and climate control. The overall interior of the Honda Life features an average amount of interior space for a kei car of its exterior dimensions. It also offers a good level of comfort and interior refinement.
