Japanese-made cars are always preferred among the masses for their top-build quality and reasonable pricing. For years Suzuki Alti has ruled the hearts of Pakistanis but there are many other options available now that are competing strongly against it like Nissan Dayz, Daihatsu Mira, and Vitz, etc. In this blog, we will share Abdul Rehman’s review of the Nissan Dayz.

Make, Model, and Variant

It was a Nissan Dayz hybrid variant S from the year 2019. Abdul Rehman bought this car in October 2023. There were many other variants available Like Bolero J, Bolero S, Bolero X, X, and J.

Engine and Fuel Economy

It comes with a 660 CC, hybrid engine with a continuous variable transmission. Given a fuel economy of 18 km/L within the city, Days fall in the category of an average-performance car competing against Suzuki Alto.

Exterior

This variant features a dual-tone exterior and a sporty look with LED lights, auto-adjustable headlights, DRLs, fog lamps, and front and rear parking sensors. However, it gives good ground clearance with an exceptional torque of 56 Nm and a power output of 48 HP.

Nissan Days Interior

It has a spacious interior, far more than you can expect with exceptional rear and front legroom. However, trunk capacity is also decent. Moreover, the 3-tone color combination adds an aesthetic appeal to the overall cabin look. It features a push start, auto headlights, comfortable sofa seats, retractable mirrors, Auto Climate Control, in-built navigation, and a seat reclining option. It also provides access to screen control through steering buttons, a great sound system with 4 speakers integrated into each door, and a speedometer that facilitates both analog and digital readings.

Maintenance and Resale

The owner follows a maintenance schedule after every 6,000 Km that costs him around 7,000 Rs including the oil and air filter change. Abdul Rehman shared that its maintenance parts are available while body parts are difficult to find as it is a recently introduced style in Pakistan.

However, its resale value is facing an upward trend against its competitors due to its comfort and fuel economy.

I have Nissan Dayz 13/17. Generally, it is a good car but it has some problems like ground clearance is much low, if you put big tyres they will wear out the suspension so early. Its ac system is not a longterm, and its qainchi ( in suspension) is weak that’s why one have to rebuild its suspension and jumps every year which costs high.
